A trip to Jinja for a few days is definitely worth it, because there is a lot to discover here in Jinja. On the one hand, Jinja is located on the Nile and also on Lake Victoria. Or rather: Here at Jinja, the Nile leaves Lake Victoria. And rafting or bungee jumping is also possible here in Jinja.

Of course, you can also go a little more quietly, for example in the form of a walk along the Nile and crossing the Nile bridge. We are talking about the “old” Nile Bridge, a former railway bridge that is still used today as a pedestrian bridge. From here you also have a great view of the 525 meter long Nile Bridge, which opened in 2018, the Source of The Nile Bridge, also known as the New Jinja Bridge.

Jinja Nile old railrad bridge

Videos Nile Bridge Jinja

<iframe title="YouTube video player" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/zvZ-tRGhNH0?wmode=transparent&autoplay=0" width="800" height="450" allowfullscreen allow="autoplay;
